At White Magnolia, we love hosting groups ready to step away from the everyday and savor time together. Recently, a group of ladies chose our historic Galveston guest house for a weekend retreat—and it felt like a full vacation, even though home was only about 30 minutes away.

They sampled one of our local favorites in Galveston, Taquilos Mexican Restaurant, which is walking distance from White Magnolia and on the same street - 21st street!

From boutique shopping on The Strand to cozy game nights, the ladies found countless ways to connect. Our living room make it easy for 8+ people to spread out and play, talk, and unwind. Guests have many games and puzzles to chose from as well as playing cards.

🌅 Sunrise & Sunset Beach Walks

With the shoreline nearby, they started and ended their days with peaceful sunrise and sunset walks—the perfect bookends to a restorative retreat.
