Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the rules, responsibilities, and policies that apply to bookings made at White Magnolia Galveston. By completing a reservation, you (“Guest”) agree to all conditions listed below.

1. Booking Requirements

• Primary renter must be 25 years or older and remain onsite for the duration of the stay.
• A valid government-issued ID may be required.
• Maximum occupancy is 10 guests unless otherwise approved in writing.

2. Payment, Cancellations & Refunds

All payments and cancellations follow the policy displayed at the time of booking. Guests are responsible for reviewing the policy before reserving.

2.1 Payment Schedule

• Reservation deposits or full payment may be charged at booking.
• Remaining balances are charged automatically per your selected rate plan.

2.2 Cancellation Policy

Your selected cancellation policy (Firm, Moderate, Flexible) applies exactly as shown during checkout.

2.3 No Refunds for Unused Nights

No refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures, bad weather, beach conditions, or event cancellations in Galveston.

3. Security Deposit & Damages

• A refundable security deposit may be required.
• Guests are responsible for damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning.
• Charges may apply for:
  • Broken furniture or décor
  • Stained linens/towels
  • Unauthorized pets
  • Smoking violations
  • Tampering with security devices

4. Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Early check-in / late checkout available upon request when possible.

5. House Rules

5.1 No Smoking

Smoking or vaping inside the home is prohibited. A $350 cleaning fee applies for violations.

5.2 No Pets (Unless Approved)

Unauthorized pets result in a minimum $250 fee plus additional cleaning.

5.3 No Parties or Events

Loud gatherings are not allowed. Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

5.4 Registered Guests Only

Only approved guests are permitted on property unless granted prior approval.

5.5 Furniture, Towels & Linens

Items must remain on site; makeup towels provided must be used to avoid staining.

6. Safety, Security & Cameras

• Exterior-only security cameras may be used for safety and property protection.
• No indoor cameras are present or ever permitted.
• Tampering with cameras or Wi-Fi devices will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

7. Liability & Indemnification

Guests agree to use the property at their own risk. The Owner is not liable for accidents, injuries, illness, theft, or loss. Guests agree to indemnify the Owner against claims resulting from misuse or violation of house rules.

8. Cleaning Expectations

The cleaning fee covers standard turnover. Additional cleaning charges may apply for excessive mess, stains, or improper use of items.

9. Host Access

The Host or authorized personnel may enter the property for repairs, maintenance, or emergencies with reasonable notice, or immediately in urgent situations.

10. Lost & Found

The Host is not responsible for left-behind items but will make reasonable efforts to assist with return shipping at the Guest’s expense.

11. Compliance With Local Laws

Guests must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, including Galveston’s STR regulations, noise laws, and parking rules.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and submitting payment, the Guest acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed above. Violations may result in additional fees or removal from the property without refund.
