Welcome to White Magnolia Galveston, our enchanting island home. Nestled on the Gulf Coast of Texas, Galveston is a vibrant island with a history as colorful as its sunsets. From its early days as a 19th-century trading post to its role as a major U.S. port city, Galveston is filled with stories of pirates, seafaring adventures, and cultural treasures.
Over time, we fell in love not just with the beaches, but with the architecture, the history, and the welcoming community — and White Magnolia became our way of sharing that love with guests from near and far.
🏛️ The Historic Island of Galveston
Today, Galveston is known for its 19th-century Victorian architecture — the largest concentrated collection in the United States. Guests can stroll streets lined with ornate homes, tour historic landmarks, and experience the charm of a city that beautifully blends past and present.
Beyond its history, Galveston offers sun-kissed beaches, diverse wildlife, a thriving cruise port, ghost tours, museums, and world-class attractions that make it perfect for both family vacations and adult getaways. 🧁 The Little Things: Baked Goods & Thoughtful Touches
One of our favorite parts of hosting is surprising guests with small, meaningful details. Many stays include a sweet welcome from our in-house bakery, White Magnolia Bread Co. , featuring small-batch treats like sourdough bread, cake balls, or cookies.
Guests can also pre-order additional baked goods to be waiting at the home when they arrive — perfect for birthdays, girls’ trips, and pre- or post-cruise celebrations.
🌅 Why We Love Sharing White Magnolia
Even though we live only about 35 minutes away, we retreat to White Magnolia whenever we can to enjoy island life: sunsets along the Seawall, coffee on the porch, walks to the Strand, and the energy of Galveston’s festivals and events.
Our greatest joy is sharing this home with guests who come for life’s biggest moments — weddings, honeymoons, family reunions, cruises, birthdays, and long-awaited beach vacations. Each stay adds a new chapter to the story of White Magnolia, and we’re honored every time someone chooses our home for their special time away.
