🔑 How do you access the property?

Guests enter White Magnolia Galveston through the private courtyard located between the main house and the garage. A smart code will be provided by the host prior to your arrival — this code is used to securely access the property.

Once inside, guests are welcome to come and go through the front door for convenience. However, to fully lock up the property, guests should use the rear entry connected to the courtyard.

🅿️ How much parking is available on-site?

White Magnolia offers ample on-site parking for guests. The private driveway fits two standard vehicles, and there’s two free street parking spots available directly in front of the property.

🚢 Is there free parking while we are on our cruise out of Galveston?

Yes! There is free, public parking on the adjacent M 1/2 Street, located beside The Bryan Museum. Many cruise guests park here for the duration of their trip. Note: this street can retain water during heavy rains, so it’s best suited for SUVs or trucks.

Note: This parking is not provided by or the responsibility of White Magnolia, but it is conveniently located to the property.< Additionally, guests MUST be parked on the side adjacent to The Bryan Museum as the side next to White Magnolia requires a residential parking pass and could be subject to fines or towed.

Our lovingly restored 1920s home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. Each room is designed for comfort and style:

• Bedroom 4: Twin Murphy bed

The laundry area is conveniently located inside the garage and available to all guests throughout their visit.

🚋 Is island public transportation within walking distance?

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily. While Moody Avenue can have some traffic noise, each bedroom includes:

• 🖤 Blackout drapes

These touches ensure a calm, restful stay amidst the lively East End district.

🧺 Are linens, towels, and toiletries provided?

Yes — Each guest is provided one bath towel, hand towel and face towel. Additional towels in both bathrooms. Shower dispensers of soap, shampoo, and conditioner are kept stocked in each bathroom. Hand sanitizer and room sprays throughout the property.

🍳 Is there a fully equipped kitchen?

☕ Is coffee provided?

Yes — complimentary coffee, cream, and sugar provided for both brewing styles including Keurig and drip style.

🐶 Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, White Magnolia Does not allow pets.

🏖️ How far is the beach?

Less than a mile away (0.3 miles to be exact) — just a few minutes on foot or by bike to Seawall Boulevard and Pleasure Pier.

🔒 Is the property private or shared?

Fully private home — guests have exclusive access to the house and courtyard and garage. Note: Parking is not available IN the garage due to lack of space.

🧽 Is there a cleaning fee or mid-stay cleaning?

One-time cleaning fee included; mid-stay cleaning available on request for an additional charge. For bookings longer than one week an additional clean fee may be requested. No glitter or confetti allowed on the property or an additional fee will be incurred.

🕓 What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in after 3 PM, check-out by 10 AM. Late checkout or early check in available upon request prior to the date of guest arrival.

📶 Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes — high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home, ideal for remote work or streaming. Lots of signs are around the property to easily find the Wi-Fi connection information.

🧯 Are there safety features?

Equipped with smoke and CO detectors, exterior cameras, and well-lit entryways.

🧳 Can I store luggage before check-in?

Yes — early bag drop can be arranged for cruise guests when available. Requests need to be made in advance of the stay and coordinated through email messaging. After check-out no bags can be left on the property.

🍽️ Are there nearby restaurants or grocery stores?

🎉 Can I host a small event, bridal prep, or photoshoot?

Yes — small gatherings, bridal preparations, and photoshoots are welcome with prior approval. The home includes dining chairs for up to 16 people (some in the home and others conveniently stored in the garage).

🌦️ What happens if there’s bad weather?

We follow official Galveston advisories and offer flexible rebooking in the event of evacuation.
